Madiran, Château St. Benazit 2015

The wine is deep ruby in colour with a garnet rim. The nose is complex with notes of black fruits such as blackberries, black cherries and blueberry cheesecake. Milk chocolate notes with smoke and sweet spices such as vanilla and cedar and a hint of leather. On the palate, it is savoury with flavours of bramble and black fruits, dark chocolate and smoke. Firm tannins and bright acidity with an oaky long finish.
