Brightwell Vineyard x The Grape Reserve Bacchus 2018 Oxfordshire
£18.99
Intense notes of tropical fruit like gooseberry, lychees and pineapple with a green character reminiscent of asparagus or tomato leaf and a hint of elderflower.Notes that mirror the nose with bright acidity and a very slight fizzy feeling. Medium to long finish. It’s delicious and refreshing on its own but can make a perfect accompaniment to fish, seafood, salads, and even slightly spicy meals with pork or poultry. With its nice acidity, it can be paired with soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie or goat’s cheese.

Olly Smith –
One of the best whites in the country. The 2018 Bacchus is sublime – gently floral, pleasingly piercing and utterly uplifting.
