Esporão Reserva Branco 2017 Alentejo
£19.99
Citrus and stone fruits with a touch of tropical fruits are beautifully showcased on a background of sweet spices like vanilla and a hint of butter. More citrusy on the palate and refreshing than the nose might suggest with notes of grapefruit, lemon and pineapple mixed with oak ageing flavours of vanilla and toast. Nice acidity with a buttery mouth-feel and a slightly bitter finish. This wine pairs well with a wide range of fish, seafood and poultry dishes. Avoid overpowering the wine with strong flavours or pungent sauces. The buttery character complements creamy sauces best. When it comes to cheese there’s plenty to choose from; from semi-hard Manchego and Gouda to soft and creamy Provolone, Camembert and Brie.
